South Asian Voices Bristol CIC awarded £19,000 for new Climate Connections project!

We are really pleased to share that South Asian Voices Bristol CIC has been awarded £19,000 funding from The National Lottery Community Fund for a brand-new community project called Climate Connections.

The project will explore climate change, sustainability and community wellbeing through conversations, storytelling and community radio. Working in partnership with BCFM Radio, the project will create opportunities for South Asian communities in Bristol to share experiences, learn together and take part in important conversations around climate and the environment!
 

We're also thrilled that the project has been featured by Bristol24/7, highlighting how this funding will help amplify South Asian perspectives on climate change through a new monthly radio programme and wider community engagement activities.
